The 18th edition of Cetate Arts Danube – Light Horizons: Art and Community at Cetate Arts Danube – will take place from August 20th to September 10th, 2025. Organized by the Joana Grevers Foundation, the residency will bring together five international artists – Ștefan Radu Crețu, Adina Mocanu, Albert Kaan, Johannes Vogl, and Emma Durovray – in dialogue with children and young people from southern Romania. Through interdisciplinary workshops and collaborative projects, the artists will explore themes of imagination, sustainability, innovation, and community, creating participatory murals, experimental photography, sculptures from recycled materials, and light installations.
